Little Things

Little things always matter.
Like the partial fingerprint on the edge of the lens, that one tiny fold in a book, the last cookie or chicken leg, the invisible massacre on your favourite shirt or the difference in the shade of your new shoe lace.
All these are the small things that seem insignificant, but really aren’t because it’s a change.
Change that’s scary, nerve-wracking, sending chills down the spine and makes me cry like a baby.
To be able to find comfort, Love and nurture that you’re meant to find on your own is extremely difficult. And to make it worse, you have to do it as per standards set by society that changes with the change in the person’s sex, gender, race, sexual orientation and so on.
With deep rooted double standards like these makes our society dysfunctional and lifestyles unhealthy.
